<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Origin of life:</bold> Although current life is homochiral (with <sc>D</sc> nucleic acids), little is known about how homochirality emerged or even if it was a necessary step.
