<abstract abstract-type="main"> <title>ABSTRACT</title> <p> <bold>Cover illustration.</bold> The larvae of the leaf beetle species <italic>Podagricomela shirahatai</italic> are specialized leaf‐miners. In this issue of the Journal of Morphology, Hua et al. (pp. 446–457 <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">10.1002/jmor.20352</ext-link>) present a detailed morphological analysis of the head structures of <italic>P. shirahatai</italic> and discuss the morphological adaptations to leaf mining in these larvae.</p> </abstract>
