- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>CH Arylation of olefins by triarylphosphines <italic>via</italic> CP bond cleavage has been achieved with either Pd<sup>0</sup> or Pd<sup>II</sup> catalysts. A variety of olefins and triarylphosphines are tolerated, and we inferred that both Pd<sup>0</sup> and Pd<sup>II</sup> could function directly without pre‐oxidation or pre‐reduction.</p> </abstract>
