<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adma201570016-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Biological species have developed multiple effective structures to survive the process of natural selection. On page 464, D. Zhang and co‐workers review recent studies on how these bio‐structures can be replicated in advanced materials.
