<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="lpor201400071-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>This paper investigates the singular optics of nonparaxial light beams when behaving as tractor beams. The correlation between non‐diffracting tractor beam and its singularity in Poynting vector (cyan circle in the inset) is unveiled.
