<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Sequential control over a thiol click reaction was realized by the reversible photoactivated formation of a thiol. In their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 174 ff., </ext-link> L. Zhu et al. describe the UV‐irradiation‐induced isomerization of spirothiopyran (SP) to its open form (MC), which can readily react with maleimide (MAL).
