- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="aenm201400840-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Highly porous iron‐nitrogen‐doped hollow core</bold> <bold>mesoporous shell (Fe‐N‐HCMS) carbon</bold> is synthesized with regular mesopores, thus providing high surface area and large pore volume. Excellent mass transfer, durability, and methanol tolerance, in addition to high activity for the oxygen reduction reaction, are demonstrated.
