- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The 6‐layered hexagonal polymorph of 6H‐BaCrO<sub>3</sub> is prepared by hot isostatic pressing of Ba<sub>3</sub>Cr<sub>2</sub>O<sub>8</sub> (from BaCO<sub>3</sub> and Cr<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, 1000 °C, 12 h) and Cr<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> in the molar ratio of 2:1 (multianvil press, 900 °C, 9 GPa, 30 min).</p> </abstract>
