Abstract:: <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The γ, δ‐unsaturated alcohol (I) undergoes a smooth bicyclization (novel Prins bicyclization strategy) with various aldehydes to yield a new series of the title compounds [(III) and (V)] with high diastereoselectivity.</p> </abstract>
