- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="smll201470135-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>A folic acid (FA)‐functionalized surface, able to selectively entrap circulating tumor cell (CTC)‐expressing folic receptors, is developed by E. Di Fabrizio and co‐workers on page 4324. Since FA represents a good transducer highlighting the CTC global 5‐methylcytosine content, this functionalized surface represents an important tool to profile cellular methylation changes in tumor monitoring strategies.
