<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adhm201470054-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Alternation in local ionic microenvironments transforms the binding kinetics of pentameric C‐reactive protein to its receptor phosphorylcholine on a cell‐membrane‐mimetic surface. On page 1733 T.
