- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Nanoparticles of Tb<sup>3+</sup> doped (1—11 mol%) Mg<sub>2</sub>SiO<sub>4</sub> are prepared by low temperature solution combustion with stoichiometric amounts of Mg(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub> and fumed SiO<sub>2</sub> as precursor and oxalyl di‐hydrazide (ODH) as fuel.</p> </abstract>
