<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Microcrystalline Sr<sub>2</sub>ZnWO<sub>6</sub>:Ln<sup>3+</sup> (Ln: Eu, Dy, Sm, Pr) phosphors are prepared by solid state reaction of stoichiometric mixtures of SrCO<sub>3</sub>, ZnO, H<sub>2</sub>WO<sub>4</sub>, and Ln<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> in air (1250 °C, 4 h).</p> </abstract>
