<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>A well‐defined dimeric Pd‐complex bearing a sterically very demanding NHC‐ligand is synthesized, which appears to be the most active Pd‐precatalyst reported to date for the synthesis of tetra‐ortho‐substituted biaryl compounds (18 examples) via cross‐coupling of sterically demanding aryl halides with Grignard reagents.</p> </abstract>
