<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The blue‐emitting phosphor (Ca<sub>0.94</sub>Ce<sub>0.03</sub>Li<sub>0.03</sub>) <sub>3</sub>Si<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub>N<sub>2</sub> is synthesized by solid state reaction of a stoichiometric mixture of CaCO<sub>3</sub>, α‐Si<sub>3</sub>N<sub>4</sub>, SiO<sub>2</sub>, Li<sub>2</sub>CO<sub>3</sub>, and CeO<sub>2</sub> (15%H<sub>2</sub>/85%N<sub>2</sub>, 1400 °C, 8 h).</p> </abstract>
