<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The new compounds Mn<sub>4</sub>(TeO<sub>3</sub>)(SiO<sub>4</sub>)X<sub>2</sub> (X: Br, Cl) are synthesized by solid state reaction of MnO, MnX<sub>2</sub>, SiO<sub>2</sub>, and TeO<sub>2</sub> (evacuated silica tube, 500—550 °C, 60 h).</p> </abstract>
