- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Polycrystalline 1 g samples of Y<sub>1‐x</sub>Ln<sub>x</sub>MnO<sub>3</sub> (Ln: La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Yb, In; x = 0—0.5) are prepared by solid state reaction of stoichiometric amounts of Y<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, MnO<sub>2</sub>, and Ln<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> or Pr<sub>6</sub>O<sub>11</sub> (microwaves, 800—1400 °C, 30—100 min).</p> </abstract>
