Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <italic> <bold>Aerogels</bold> </italic> with 3D‐ordered nanofiber skeletons of liquid‐crystalline nanocellulose are described by T. Saito et al. in their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 10394 ff.</ext-link> The nanocellulose is composed of mechanically strong, surface‐carboxylated cellulose nanofibers dispersed in a nematic order, which were prepared from abundant wood biomass through a water‐based process.
