- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>A porous MoO<sub>3</sub> film is prepared by using a facile hydrothermal route and subsequent calcinations in air. The resulting material has a high capacity (750 mAh g<sup>−1</sup> at 1 C), long cycle life (120 cycles with 80 % capacity retention), and high coulombic efficiency as the anode of a lithium‐ion battery.</p> </abstract>
