Abstract

<abstract> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The new standing order of Russian Ministry of Health for the use of assisted reproductive technologies (ART) (in force since 2013) permits the use of ART for discordant couples with one partner infected with HIV. This permission puts on clinics an additional responsibility due to risks of HIV transmission. With the aim to decrease the possibility of nosocomial HIV infection of mother and child, the method of HIV detection in washed sperm was developed and validated.</p> </abstract>
