Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adma201402183-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>An unconventional strategy</bold> that can be temporally and remotely activated with light to combat the drug resistance of cancer cells is developed. A cell‐membrane‐anchored photosensitizer (OPV) is used to enhance anticancer drug uptake and restore toxicity in resistant cancer cells.
