- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adma201401494-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>A polythiophene derivative called PDCBT</bold>, which has a backbone of thiophene units and just carboxylate functional groups to modulate its properties, exhibits properties superior to those of poly(3‐hexylthiophene), the classic polythiophene derivative, when used as an electron donor in polymer solar cells (PSCs).
