- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adma201402041-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>A new pseudocapacitor anode</bold>, sulfur‐doped V<sub>6</sub>O<sub>13−<italic>x</italic></sub>, is reported. It achieves a benchmark capacitance of 1353 F/g (0.72 F/cm<sup>2</sup>) at a current density of 1.9 A/g (1 mA/cm<sup>2</sup>) in 5 <sc>M</sc> LiCl solution. The charges are stored chemically in the electrode via reversible redox reactions that involve multiple oxidation states of vanadium (V<sup>3+</sup>, V<sup>4+</sup> and V<sup>5+</sup>). <boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"><graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgh1302tx1s" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></boxed-text></p> </abstract>
