- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The titanates Li<sub>2</sub>MTi<sub>3</sub>O<sub>8</sub> (M: Zn, Cu, Zn<sub>0.5</sub>Cu<sub>0.5</sub>) are synthesized by solid state reactions of stoichiometric mixtures of TiO<sub>2</sub>, Li<sub>2</sub>CO<sub>3</sub>, Zn(OAc)<sub>2</sub>, and/or Cu(OAc)<sub>2</sub> (750 °C, 5 h).</p> </abstract>
