<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The ternary borides Ta<sub>3</sub>Ru<sub>5</sub>B<sub>2</sub>, Zr<sub>2.86</sub>Ru<sub>5.14</sub>B<sub>2</sub>, and Hf<sub>2.83</sub>Ru<sub>5.17</sub>B<sub>2</sub> are synthesized by arc‐melting of stoichiometric mixtures of the elements (Ar, Cu crucibles).</p> </abstract>
