Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>DNA origami nanotiles have been used as novel multiplex mechanochemical sensors. In their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 8137 ff., </ext-link> M. Endo, H. Sugiyama, H. Mao et al. show that the binding of specific target molecules to the sensor unlocks the interconnected tiles, and the global topology of the DNA nanostructure rearranges.
