Abstract

<abstract> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>The complete mitochondrial genome was sequenced from the freshwater gudgeon, <italic>Gobiobotia nakdongensis</italic>. The genome sequence was 16, 609 bp in size, and the gene order and contents were identical with other previously reported fish mitochondrial genomes. Of the 13 protein-coding genes (<italic>PCG</italic>s), 3 genes (<italic>CO2</italic>, <italic>CO3</italic>, and <italic>Cytb</italic>) had incomplete stop codons. The base composition of <italic>G. nakdongensis</italic> showed anti-G bias (9.93%) on the third position of <italic>PCG</italic>s.</p> </abstract>
