- <abstract> <title> <x content-type="archive" xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <sec> <title>Objectives</title> <p>To explore <italic>NPM1</italic>, <italic>FLT3-</italic>ITD, <italic>CEBPA</italic>, and <italic>c-kit</italic> mutations in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) from Chinese population.</p> </sec> <sec> <title>Methods</title> <p>In this study, we retrospectively analyzed the prevalence and clinical profile of <italic>NPM1</italic>, <italic>FLT3-</italic>ITD, <italic>CEBPA</italic>, and <italic>c-kit</italic> mutations in 312 patients with <italic>de novo</italic> AML.</p> </sec> <sec> <title>Results</title> <p>The frequencies of <italic>NPM1</italic>, <italic>FLT3-</italic>ITD, <italic>c-kit</italic>, and <italic>CEBPA</italic> mutations were 15.4, 14.0, 7.64, and 25.6%, respectively. The occurrence rate of <italic>NPM1</italic> mutations increased with age in patients younger than 60 years. <italic>NPM1</italic>, <italic>c-kit</italic>, and <italic>CEBPA</italic> mutations were all associated with French-American-British subtypes.
