Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="main"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <sec id="jobm201301060-sec-0001" sec-type="section"> <p>Phytochemical investigation of the ethyl acetate extract of the edible macrofungus, <italic>Ramaria madagascariensis</italic>, has led to the isolation of two new alkaloids (<bold>1</bold> and <bold>2</bold>). Their structures were elucidated by HR‐ESI‐MS, IR, and 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR experiments. The antimicrobial activity of <bold>1</bold> and <bold>2</bold> was also tested and evaluated.</p> </sec> </abstract>
