Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="andp201400048-abs-001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>A non conventional source or receiver of THz and above THz electromagnetic radiation is proposed. Specifically, electron or hole oscillations in DNA <italic>dimers</italic> (two interacting DNA base‐pairs or <italic>monomers</italic>) are predicted. The investigation is extended to DNA <italic>trimers</italic>.
