- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Nanometric colloidal sols of CeO<sub>2</sub>, ZrO<sub>2</sub>, and CeO<sub>2</sub>—ZrO<sub>2</sub> are hydrothermally prepared from aqueous solutions containing (Me<sub>4</sub>N)<sub>2</sub>CO<sub>3</sub>, ZrO(CO<sub>3</sub>), or/and Ce<sub>2</sub>(CO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>3</sub> (autoclave, 140 °C, 3—6 h, yields given in mass%).</p> </abstract>
