<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Clusters of galaxies provide a rich variety of phenomena in the far‐infrared and the <italic>Herschel Space Observatory</italic> has performed a number of comprehensive imaging and spectroscopic observations of clusters over a wide redshift range.
