- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>A VPO<sub>4</sub>/C nanocomposite is prepared as precursor by sol‐gel processing of a 1:2:2 mixture of V<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub>, H<sub>3</sub>PO<sub>4</sub>, and citric acid (heating of the dried gel under argon, 350 and 700 °C, 6 h each).</p> </abstract>
