- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>A series of red‐emitting garnet Na<sub>2</sub>CaTi<sub>2</sub>Ge<sub>3</sub>O<sub>12</sub>:Pr <sup>3+</sup>, Na<sup>+</sup> phosphors are prepared by solid state reaction of stoichiometric mixtures of NaCO<sub>3</sub>, CaCO<sub>3</sub>, TiO<sub>2</sub>, GeO<sub>2</sub>, and Pr<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> (alumina crucible, 950 °C, 8 h, reducing atmosphere).</p> </abstract>
