<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Na<sub>4</sub>K<sub>5</sub> [K<sub>3</sub>Cu<sub>3</sub>(NO<sub>3</sub>) (PW<sub>9</sub>O<sub>34</sub>)<sub>2</sub>] is synthesized from an aqueous solution of Na<sub>2</sub>WO<sub>4</sub>, Na<sub>2</sub>HPO<sub>4</sub>, Cu(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub>, and HCl (pH 7.5, 90 °C, 1 h followed by addition of KCl; 79% yield).</p> </abstract>
