<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="humu22507-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>The <italic>TP53</italic> tumor suppressor gene is the most frequently mutated gene in human cancers.
