- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Polycrystalline samples of Sr<sub>2‐x</sub>La<sub>x</sub>FeIrO<sub>6</sub> with 0 ≤ x ≤ 2 are prepared by solid state reaction of stoichiometric mixtures of SrCO<sub>3</sub>, La<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, Fe<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, and Ir powder (air, 900 and 1100 °C for 24 h each).</p> </abstract>
