<abstract abstract-type="main"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Interest in the role of donor‐specific human leukocyte antibodies in liver transplantation has been rekindled recently. Emerging evidence suggests that these antibodies may cause injury to the liver allograft.
