<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The novel bridged dicationic ionic liquid shown is found to be an efficient and recyclable catalyst for the synthesis of the title chromenes (IV), (VI), and (VIII) via one‐pot three‐component reactions of appropriate activated "phenols" with malononitrile and aromatic aldehydes.</p> </abstract>
