Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="main"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Female faculty mentoring is examined through the conceptual framework of relational cultural theory (RCT). As a theoretical approach that takes into account the importance of relationships and mutuality, it is suggested that RCT concepts be utilized within mentoring relationships. Five relational mentoring strategies for working with female faculty are presented.</p> </abstract>
