It is usually detected in the perinatal period or during infancy, but a very few cases have been reported in adults. Here, we present the case of a 42‐year‐old man who visited our hospital for arterial hypertension and in whom IAA was diagnosed with echocardiography and confirmed by computed tomography angiography. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Clin Ultrasound, 41:521–523, 2013;</p>
