Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="main"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Interrupted aortic arch (IAA) is a rare congenital anomaly characterized by a complete luminal and anatomical interruption between the ascending and descending thoracic aorta. It is usually detected in the perinatal period or during infancy, but a very few cases have been reported in adults.
