Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="smll201470033-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>The cover image is a pop art representation of a shell architecture on fluorescent nanodiamond. As P. Cigler and co‐workers report on page 1106, the diamond nanoparticle is embedded in a silica shell, which is terminated by a hydrophillic, azide‐ or alkyne‐substituted PEG polymer.
