<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>This report is based on a seminar held during the 10th Annual Meeting of the British Uro‐oncology Group in London, 13‐14 September 2013. The seminar focused on all aspects of the role of the androgen receptor in prostate cancer, from an overview of the molecular mechanisms and underlying pathways to the development of therapeutic agents designed to inhibit the androgen receptor.
