<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Atom‐efficient and environmentally benign syntheses of title amides [(III) and (V)] and benzoxazoles [(VII) and (IX)] are accomplished by an improved protocol using acetaldoxime instead of H<sub>2</sub>O as hydrolysis agent to facilitate the operation of the reaction.</p> </abstract>
