- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Yolk–shell MoO<sub>3</sub> microspheres are prepared by a two‐step process in which molybdenum oxide–carbon (MoO<sub><italic>x</italic></sub>–C) composite microspheres are first obtained by spray pyrolysis, followed by combustion at 400 °C in air. The yolk–shell microspheres exhibit excellent electrochemical properties and structural stability.</p> </abstract>
