<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adma201305162-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Click chemistry</bold> plays a dual role in the design of new citrate‐based biodegradable elastomers (CABEs) with greatly improved mechanical strength and easily clickable surfaces for biofunctionalization.
