<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Take from the rich to give to the poor:</bold> An heterogeneous Pd catalyst associated to 10 mol % CuCl allows to arylate at C3 of benzo[<italic>b</italic>]thiophenes using aryl chlorides as the coupling partners, without additional ligands or directing groups.
