- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>The rational design of</bold> a chemically tunable reaction system to synthesize polyoxometalate (POM)‐directed entangled metal–organic coordination networks is still a challenging but fascinating task. In their Full Paper on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 819 ff.</ext-link>, Yong‐Hui Wang, Fu‐Chen Liu, and Yang‐Guang Li et al. report a new reaction system containing charge‐tunable Keggin‐type POM units and the preparation of four new POM‐directed entangled networks based on transition‐metal (TM) ions and the ligand 1, 4‐bis(1, 2, 4‐triazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene. In these compounds, the chemically charge‐tunable Keggin‐type POMs play a key role in changing the structural topologies of entangled networks and modulating the photocatalytic activities of hybrid compounds.<boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"><graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgg4srq52sr" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></boxed-text></p> </abstract>
