- <abstract abstract-type="main"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>The <named-content content-type="chemicalTechnology" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">catalytic activity</named-content> of three acetanilide palladacycles derived from easily accessible and commercially available acetanilide derivatives, viz. <italic>N</italic>‐phenylacetamide (<bold>L1</bold>), <italic>N</italic>‐(4‐chlorophenyl)acetamide (<bold>L2</bold>) and <italic>N</italic>‐(4‐methylphenyl)acetamide (<bold>L3</bold>) has been examined in Pd‐catalyzed <named-content content-type="reactionType" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">Suzuki–Miyaura reaction</named-content> of arylboronic acid with aryl bromides at room temperature. The complex <bold>1L3</bold> exhibited efficient activity in <named-content content-type="reactionType" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction</named-content> (up to 99% isolated yield) under mild reaction conditions.
