<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Target‐adapted hydrophobic cross‐links were used to conformationally constrain a peptide (see picture, pink). In their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 2489 ff., </ext-link> T. N. Grossmann et al. present the iterative and rational evolution of these cross‐links (yellow) based on X‐ray crystal structures.
